Kids love bees! The best part about our stingless Australian native bees is no sting! They are maintenance free, in a small hive and resilient.

I offer a range of native stingless bee education options for schools, kindergartens and child care centres.

These can include:

Incursions – includes seeing in a stingless bee observation hive, honey tasting and stories using posters and displays.

Installing a stingless bee hive – if you don’t have a hive I can sell you one and install it. This will be an observation hive and includes a complimentary education session and 12 months warranty.

Split an existing stingless bee hive – I can split your hive in front of the students and taste honey straight from the hive, and provide an education session.

Cost will depend on the type of session and length but generally an incursion will be around $150.

Hive splits will range from $50 if I keep the half of the split as part payment, up to $270 if you keep the split (second hive).

If you engage me to manage your hives on an ongoing basis I can provide ongoing warranties so that if anything happens to your bees you will get a replacement hive.
